About Us

The mission of the Mercer University College of Pharmacy Student Society is to make students aware of pharmacy practice in health systems; provide information to students about career directions in and credentials needed for pharmacy practice in health systems; and encourage membership and participation in the state society and ASHP as a student upon graduation.

Membership Highlights

The GSHP chapter at Mercer University serves the interests of its members by offering hospital tours, SOAPe Club, Journal Club and providing numerous networking opportunities. The chapter has received multiple ASHP-SSHP Spotlight Recognitions, the 2014 ASHP Outstanding Professional Development Project Award, and placed second in the 2014 national-level Clinical Skills Competition. Most recently, we partnered with the Community Health and Men’s Promotion Summit to provide health screenings focused on early detection and intervention.
